One of the things we pride ourselves on most at Cfx is the opportunity to work with hometown companies. While there are thousands upon thousands of opportunities for creative work from every corner of the country, (and, frankly, the world), Cfx owners Chris Frank and Megan Frank prefer to work with companies who are at arm’s length, allowing them to nurture the relationships they have with clientele via more than just the occasional email or phone call.

One such client is Pearl Vodka, owned by St. Louis alcohol bottler and distributor Luxco, who are long-time friends and associates of Cfx. Recently, Pearl sought to realign themselves in the local market by highlighting the fact that Pearl is a St. Louis-owned premium vodka. This plan of attack allowed the creative team at Cfx to develop new neighborhood-specific advertisements that would connect people throughout metro St. Louis with the Pearl brand. The resulting artwork (as previewed above) allowed for a mixed-media approach utilizing original photography and digital design by Cfx’s creative team. As of a few days ago, Pearl’s new ads are displayed all over town on billboards, bus shelters, and drink coasters, and point-of-sale materials at local vendors.
It’s extremely gratifying, to say the least, to be allowed the opportunity to work on such imperative pieces for our clients, who in most cases, are also our friends. Now, to propose a toast… Sip Local in St. Louis! CHEERS!
