Over the years Cfx, Inc. has been published in local and national articles, often featuring the extraordinary renovations to the former Holy Family Catholic Church. Entrepreneurs Chris Frank and Megan Frank acquired and renovated the historic property when its doors closed to the public in 2005.
Awarded the Spirit of St. Louis Award by Mayor Francis Slay in 2011, the Franks have continually grown their office space into so much more than just a work space. Cfx also serves as a fully-functional photography studio, an offsite meeting facility for clients and partnering businesses, and even a puppy play-place for the dogs of Cfx’s employees and friends.
“No matter what your religious affiliation, you can’t deny the amount of prayers, baptisms, weddings and funerals that happened in this space,” Cfx owner Chris Frank said. “We’re honored to own this property. … We’ve always treated it with that respect.”
Cfx, Inc.’s most recent accolade was issued by St. Louis Review, in which they recount the details surrounding two reclaimed churches in the St. Louis area, Holy Family Parish, and Visitation-St. Ann Parish. The story discusses the intricacies of the acquisition of a former parish church, including the reappropriation of religious artifacts and the terms that must be followed when reopening the doors as a new business.
