Last night at the St. Louis Art Museum, members of the Beaux Arts Council were invited into a private showing of St. Louis Art Museum's newest exhibit entitled Degas, Impressionism, and the Paris Millinery Trade.
This canvas is Edgar Degas’s most ambitious statement on the theme of the millinery shop.
Opening to the public this Sunday, February 12th, the exhibit displays 60 pieces by Edgar Degas (many never before displayed in the U.S.), along with many of the designer hats which inspired his work.
Be sure to visit the St. Louis Art Museum to see this fantastic exhibit, and visit their website to learn more.
