In honor of National Tequila Day, Cfx would like to pay homage to two of our favorite tequilas, El Mayor and Exotico. Cfx was proud to give these brands new life when they underwent complete packaging redesigns, from sourcing new glass to designing the brand identities. El Mayor and Exotico tequilas are owned by Luxco, one of Cfx's longstanding St. Louis clients.

Huffords’ Whiskey, Watches, and Wheels event features everything the modern man loves: a selection of fine bourbons, watches from top brands such as Cartier, Breitling and Rolex, and awe-inspiring cars from St. Louis Motorcars.
A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit St. Louis ProPlayers, an organization of former pro athletes who are dedicated to helping today’s youth reach their greatest potential in the areas of academics, athletics and the arts.
Over 200 local businesses and organizations exhibited at this years Earth Day Festival, educating visitors on sustainable products and services. Local musical acts and performing artists provided entertainment for guests throughout both days, and a wide variety of hands-on activities were offered across the festival grounds.

Exotico® Tequila, owned by Cfx, Inc. client Luxco, made a tremendous impression last week in Las Vegas during the Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show. As a main sponsor of this year’s trade show, Exotico had a demanding presence at the trade show and at key nightlife events during the four days of festivities.
The convention kicked off last Monday with a poolside party that featured a select few vendors and exhibitors. The Exotico booth featured branded lighting elements, glowing wristbands, and a strobing co-branded drink mixer featuring the Exotico brand.
The hype continued the following afternoon at Day #1 of the trade show, where each guest was presented with an Exotico-branded swag bag. Guests were seen adorned with the Exotico bags throughout both days of the convention, heighten brand awareness every step of the way. The brand also received accolades from other vendors who were eager to partner and align themselves with the Exotico brand.
The Exotico booth at the trade show was adorned with many Cfx-designed pieces including postcards, co-branded Lit Up Beverages cans, and the hugely popular Exotico Shot Skis, which garnered their fair share of attention at the convention.

As we celebrate the achievements and significance of Black Americans in our country’s history, we’d like to kickoff Black History Month by shining a spotlight on local artist, musician, entrepreneur, humanitarian, and close friend of Cfx, Nelly.
Beginning his career as a St. Louis born-and-bred rapper/singer, Nelly has blossomed into a humble businessman and entrepreneur, launching and running the ex’treme Institute by Nelly, and most recently performing at Powell Symphony Hall with the St. Louis Symphony.

Nelly also quietly contributes to a wide variety of charities and causes, having donated to such organizations as 21st Century Leaders, 4sho4kids, Ante Up For Africa, Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, ENOUGH Project, Not On Our Watch, and Whatever It Takes.
In recent years Nelly has also developed a scholarship program honoring the late Michael Brown, and has sent an average of two kids to college per year for the last decade.
Check back throughout the month, as we honor various artists that have impacted American culture in humanitarian, entrepreneurial, and artistic endeavors.

Last week we invited over our friend Bob Henkel of St. Louis Earth Day to hold an in-house Q&A on best practices for recycling and composting. We spent our lunch hour digesting a plethora of good information about recycling resources, composting endeavors, and had the opportunity to address our questions regarding certain materials and procedures.
